Charity and the 1040 confessional

I would like to discuss charity.

As I understand it, charity is an internal experience associated with the act of selflessness.

One method BG (big government) has used to pervert this experience, is to offer “tax deductions for charitable contributions.” By forcing upon us, a secondary selfish motive, BG has demented this otherwise noble and pleasant activity. The 1040 confessional taints this honorable act with greed.

Who owns you?

We must remember how to give from the heart. I suggest not keeping track of what, or to who, or how much. A wise hillbilly once told me, “Always make enough to share.”
